Arnaud Guilliams
Painter and Sculptor
An artistic journey between tradition and innovation
A childhood shaped by art and imagination
Arnaud Guilliams was born in Casablanca in 1972 and grew up in Thiers, in the Puy-de-Dôme region of France. Drawn to art from an early age, he studied visual arts in Clermont-Ferrand, where he began to develop a universe filled with fantastic creatures brought to life through his drawings and paintings.
The discovery of sculpture
and composite materials
In 1990, he trained as a molder at the FUSIONS Art Foundry in Riom, in the Auvergne region of France. However, a motorcycle accident left him immobilized for several months, a period that marked a decisive turning point in his career. During his recovery, he discovered modeling, first with clay, and soon turned to composite materials. These allowed him to work on minute details and quickly establish a name for himself in the world of figurine art.

A constant exploration of materials and styles
Always in search of new creative experiences, the Nice Carnival opened new horizons for him by introducing a material he had never worked with before: polystyrene.
His sculptural work remains inseparable from his skills as a painter, which he continues to develop through numerous private commissions as well as exhibitions. He explores a variety of media — including paper, canvas, and vinyl — to express his artistic vision.
A rise in the world of sculpture
In 1995, seeking to refine his skills, he left the Auvergne region and moved to Nice. There, he joined the Victorine Studios as an assistant to sculptor Alexandre Mari, an experience that allowed him to create his first monumental works and ornamental architectural concepts.
At the same time, he continued sculpting 3D figurines and began presenting his work at specialized exhibitions and competitions. His creations earned multiple awards, drawing the attention of Bowen Designs, a U.S.-based company licensed by Marvel. They published his bust of Logan Wolverine, marking the beginning of a series of collaborations with iconic licenses such as Rahan, Grendizer (Goldorak), and Cobra — characters that deeply influenced his childhood.

The fusion of art and design
A new artistic era
In 2011, his encounter with fashion designer Corinne Reinsch gave birth to a new sculptural style: Contemporary Fantasy. This unique artistic approach blends sculpture with muselet (wire cage) elements. From this creative collaboration emerged remarkable works such as AÉRIA and THALASSA, which reflect their shared passion for the magic of materials and the elevation of form.
