These fan art creations are produced in very limited series, with a maximum of 30 pieces per model, guaranteeing their exclusive and artisanal character. Cosmo the Spacedog was created by writer Dan Abnett and artist Andy Lanning, first appearing in Marvel Spotlight #6 in 2008. Originally inspired by the Soviet space dogs of the Cold War space program (most notably Laika), this canine with formidable telepathic and telekinetic powers went on to become the head of security for Knowhere and an iconic member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
For this piece, I wanted to capture all of Cosmo's charm and playfulness through a seated dog pose, a half-open mouth with a joyful expression, and big, round, open eyes. I sculpted and engineered a removable, articulated translucent resin helmet—whose open visor reveals his gaze—to showcase his telekinetic power as he uses his mind to attract a bone-shaped biscuit. The figure rests on a spatial ground base evoking a distant planet like Mars. Printed in ABS-like resin and filled with PU resin to give it the solid weight of a true collectible statue, this 1/6 scale piece (16.5 cm tall) is strictly limited to only 20 copies worldwide and comes with an artist certificate.

Option Peinture (Travail d'Artiste) : Chaque sculpture est peinte à la commande. En raison de ma charge de travail en solo et de l'exigence technique requise pour ne jamais saboter le rendu final, le délai est de 4 à 5 semaines. Ce temps est nécessaire pour respecter les étapes de peinture artistique et les finitions protectrices.

Painted Option (Artist's Work): Each sculpture is painted to order. Due to my solo workload and the technical standards required to never compromise the final rendering, the turnaround time is 4 to 5 weeks. This time is essential to properly execute the artistic painting stages and protective finishes.
