History & Origins

First appearing in 1993 from the pen of John Francis Moore and the dynamic lines of Ron Lim,Xi'an Chi Xan  , alias Desert Ghost, is the central pillar of the X-Men of the future. A charismatic leader and tortured strategist, he founded the "Gathering" in Nevada, seeking to turn Xavier's dream into a tangible reality in a world dominated by mega-corporations like Alchemax. This complex character possesses a unique power of molecular manipulation: his right hand has the gift of giving life and restoring (often represented by a golden mutation), while his left hand holds the terrifying power to deconstruct, liquefy, and reduce any matter to dust.

Artistic Vision

My artistic vision for this 1/7 scale bust rests entirely on this duality between creation and annihilation. The left hand is raised in a theatrical pose reminiscent of Hamlet, holding a skull that literally liquefies between his fingers—an effect enhanced by the use of ABS Clear resin for this specific part. The right hand, meanwhile, is sculpted to receive the iconic golden finish that symbolizes his power of resurrection. By playing on this contrast between the transparent and the metallic, I wanted to offer collectors a piece that embodies the tragedy and power of the leader of the X-Men 2099, limited to only 20 copies.
