The Living Monolith, whose real name is Ahmet Abdol, is a Marvel Comics supervillain who first appeared in X-Men #54 in March 1969, created by Arnold Drake and Don Heck. Of Egyptian origin, Abdol is an archaeologist and a mutant with the ability to absorb cosmic and solar energy, causing him to grow exponentially in size and strength, transforming into the Living Monolith, a near-invincible being. Obsessed with the origins of his powers and convinced he is the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy, he frequently clashes with the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Thor—often in his pursuit of global domination or divine supremacy.

His rivalry with Havok (Alex Summers) is central to his storyline, as Abdol requires Havok’s energy to achieve his Monolith form. A tragic and megalomaniacal figure, the Living Monolith embodies the fantasy of a man deified—corrupted by power and consumed by his quest for immortality.

The LIVING MONOLITH bust is crafted from high-quality resin to ensure exceptional durability and strength. Each piece is individually numbered to certify its authenticity and rarity on the collector’s market. Add a touch of brilliance and sophistication to your collection with the LIVING MONOLITH bust.
