King Thanos : The Master of Twilight – Collectible Bust

The Character: The Victor of Ragnarök. In the apocalyptic future imagined by Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw (2018), Thanos is no longer simply a contender for the throne: he is the end of history. To establish his absolute domination over a depopulated universe, he wields Twilight, Surtur's flaming sword. This legendary weapon, capable of reducing Asgard to ashes and shattering the structures of reality, has become the Titan's ultimate trophy. This bust depicts King Thanos at the height of his arrogance, holding the instrument of the end times, a symbol of his victory over gods and demons.

Artist's Vision & Set Design: My vision for this piece was to create a visual clash between the coldness of the royal armor and the fury of the Twilight Sword. The technical challenge was to sculpt the sword's flames to appear in motion, while maintaining Thanos's monolithic presence. Every detail, from the old monarch's beard to the gems on the hilt, was carefully considered to tell the story of the plundering of the greatest artifacts in the Marvel Universe.
